Rx. Sophorae Flavescentis Ku Shen 3-15g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, disperses Wind and stops itching.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 1.5-10g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and resolves Fire toxicity.
Rx. Saposhnikoviae Fang Feng 3-10g Releases the exterior and expels External Wind.
With Jing Jie, expels Wind and stops itching for pruritic rash and initial-stage boils.

 

Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3-18g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire and detoxifies.
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, dry mouth, parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 3-10g Releases the exterior, expels Wind, vents rashes and relieves itching.
With Fang Feng, for pruritic itching.
With Fang Feng, Jin Yin Hua and Lian Qiao, for early-stage carbuncles, furuncles, and abscesses.
Flos Lonicerae Jin Yin Hua 6-20g Clears Heat, resolves Fire toxicity and vents and disperses External Wind-Heat.
With Lian Qiao, for Various Heat disorders.
With Lian Qiao and Huang Qin, for unremitting high fever.
With Huang Qin, for suppurating boils that have not ulcerated, or have ulcerated but are not discharging pus.
Fr. Kochiae Di Fu Zi 3-15g Clears Damp-Heat, promotes urination, expels Dampness, stops itching and clears Wind-Heat affecting the eyes and head.
With Ku Shen, for skin irritation and itchiness due to Damp-Heat.
Cx. Phellodendri Huang Bai 3-12g Drains Fire and relieves Fire toxicity.
